Qualifications

Experience in any of the following:

  • Security Cooperation
  • Foreign Military Sales
  • International Military Education and Training
  • Peacekeeping Operations
  • Training and Technical Assistance
  • Ammunition Processes

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Military experience
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Past work in U.S. Government agencies including, but not limited to, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), the Georgraphic Combatant Commands (CCMDs), the Joint Staff, the Security Cooperation Organizations (SCOs), and/or the Military Departments (MILDEPs).
  • Experience in providing ammunition assistance to military infrastructure in the Continental United States (CONUS) or outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
  • Deep knowledge of ammunition and other kinetic materials storage, maintenance and associated arsenal support structures.
  • Experience with researching and analyzing legislation and federal regulations, with an emphasis on security cooperation topics.
  • Completion of DISCS Security Cooperation Management, Security Cooperation Management Policy, Programs, and Planning, or other similar courses or Security Cooperation Basic Certification.
  • Knowledge of DoD institutional capacity building and assessment, monitoring, and evaluation guidance and processes

Education and certification

  • BA/BS minimum / MA preferred in security studies, political science, foreign affairs, or other relevant field
  • Project Management, PMP, or comparable certification preferred

Languages

  • DLPT 3/3 or above in one of the following languages Arabic, French, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, or Ukrainian preferred

Security Clearance

  • Minimum of active SECRET clearance required
