Job description

EPIC EHR Systems Project Manager/Analyst, Soldotna, AK

Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced EPIC EHR Systems Project Manager/Analyst to support clinical information systems and related applications. This role is responsible for project management, system support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for the organization’s EHR and clinical software platforms.

This position plays a key role in the full lifecycle of system initiatives, including selection, development, implementation, testing, and documentation. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Work Model:

Preference for full-time on-site, though a hybrid option may be considered. In addition to the competitive pay rate there will be a $1000/week allowance for housing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and support systems project management initiatives for EHR and clinical applications
  • Provide software support, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance
  • Participate in system selection, development, implementation, and testing
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and workflows
  • Deliver end-user training and support adoption of new technologies
  • Collaborate with IS teams and business stakeholders to improve system performance
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery across clinical information systems

Qualifications

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Informatics, Medicine, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of EPIC EHR experience (Required)
    OR
  • 5+ years of Information Services / Systems Analyst experience (Required)
  • Experience supporting clinical applications and healthcare IT systems
  • Strong background in system implementation, support, and troubleshooting

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems)
  • CPHIT (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Technology)
