Intern Salary Non-Exempt $25.00 - 25.00
What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Management Intern, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the business through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Supplier Relations & Sourcing: Assisting in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with potential suppliers, as well as maintaining relationships.
Order Management: Creating, tracking, and resolving issues with purchase orders (POs).
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and cost data to support purchasing decisions.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records, including contracts, tender documents, and invoice data.
Project Work: Assisting in procurement process improvements or specific sourcing projects.
Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance supply chain operations.
What you need to be successful:
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0
Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Basic project management or organizational skills.
Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
Availability: Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12 weeks for a summer internship. Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
