Who You Are:
You lead teams that manage programs or projects related to strategic initiatives of your organization. You have experience with highly complex, broad scope, multiple programs and ongoing program strategy. You have experience with programs that are mission-critical and involve significant business change and efficiencies.
The Impact You Will Have:
As a Senior Manager, Project Management you will define the strategy and desired outcomes of assigned programs and projects that are aligned to the strategic objectives that impact the technology platforms across QTS. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and managing implementation of activities for extremely complex programs with broad scope, high impact and long implementation time frames. You will be responsible for governance of our Technology Delivery Office. You will provide the oversight of multiple projects managed by others.
What You Will Do:
  • Set program strategy and long-range plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead a team of Project Managers.
  • Hire, coach, evaluate and provide leadership to a team including sitting goals and objectives for each member of the team
  • Oversee Technology Delivery Office governance, reporting, and risk management while ensuring adoption of project management templates, reporting frameworks and procedural standards to drive consistency and excellence aross all technology projects.
  • Engage executive sponsors to secure alignment and resources.
  • Drive organizational transformation and change initiatives.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned programs and projects.
  • Define the strategy and desired outcomes of assigned program(s) that are aligned to the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to obtain and commit necessary associate resources at the appropriate time, level, and expertise.
  • Deliver on time and on budget with superior quality.
  • Coordinate all activities with, and report regularly to senior leadership/sponsorship teams.
  • Monitor and mitigate project/ program risks.
  • Provide oversight to teams of individuals from cross functional teams, as well as vendors to accomplish outcomes.
  • Establish appropriate project management tools, processes and procedures for a corporate project management framework as well as ensuring compliance with such tools.
  • Responsible for the delivery of project components.

What You Will Need to be Successful:
  • 7 or more years of business and/or consulting experience and project management experience.
  • 5 or more years in supervisory/people leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale programs and managing large budgets.
  • Strong executive communication and strategic influence skills.
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment.
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, current and future state assessments.
  • Agile methodology, PMP and/or six sigma blackbelt preferred.
