Position: 2015-13465 - Project Management - Project Integrator
Salary: $132,000-142,000 per year.
Location: Washington DC
Position Description:
This individual will assist in the expansion, training and integration of project management methodologies throughout the organization using the Sponsor's designated tools. This includes providing training and support to PMs/SIs to develop, update and analyze project schedules, identify cross-project dependencies and risks and track project financials. Responsible for evaluating project health by analyzing project schedules, dependencies, risks, and financial data; providing quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to organizational standards; assisting in the development of office-wide business rules, policies, and procedures as part of the governance process for the IPV program; providing subject matter expertise on the Project Management Framework (PMF) and the PPM tools; developing, analyzing and reporting programmatic and performance metrics. Briefings to customer and management boards on project status and progress will be required. This person must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
In addition, the PI will support portfolio and financial analysis for the office as well as contributing to the organizations portfolio management maturity.
The individual will:
• Support and promote the use of Agile methodologies across project teams and provide Agile coaching and mentoring support
• Assist in leading organizational change through continuous improvement of business and engineering processes and associated corporate reporting
• Correlate and analyze technical data to understand performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Provide both process and technical recommendations to address opportunities and facilitate the implementation
• Package and communicate analysis for broad organizational use
• Create program documentation, generate formal review documentation and participate in system and program reviews
• Review program plans and identify inconsistencies
• Coordinate, support and participate in program meetings, reviews and governance boards
• Track project studies, plans, actions items, take minutes
• Gather, analyze, and compose technical information
• Conduct research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology
• Translate technical information into clear, readable documents and presentation to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
• Support the development of all types of documents and reports by developing and updating graphics presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents
• Integrate the graphics and information generated from meetings and facilitation sessions, using automated tools, and research methods into final deliverable document
Mandatory Skills:
1. Minimum 2 years demonstrated on-the-job experience utilizing Primavera Project Management system for schedule development
2. Minimum 2 years demonstrated on-the-job experience serving in an administrative capability for the Primavera Project Management system
3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience developing integrated master schedules
4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the Agile, waterfall and iterative development methodologies
