We deliver end-to-end solutions across the facility lifecycle, including design, prefabrication, installation, controls integration, and ongoing service. The Project Management Intern will assist and support the project team in various phases of commercial construction projects. Under direct supervision, the intern will gain hands-on experience in project coordination, document control, and communication with stakeholders. This role offers exposure to project management principles, construction processes, and best practices while developing critical problem-solving and organizational skills.

Requirements

Project Management

  • Assist in preconstruction, execution, and close-out phases of projects.
  • Support project managers in tracking project schedules and deliverables.
  • Participate in meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Help maintain project documentation, logs, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams.

Preconstruction Phase

  • Assist in reviewing job specifications and project scope.
  • Help with data entry and organization of project-related documents.
  • Support procurement efforts by tracking material and vendor information.
  • Assist in preparing Request for Information (RFI), submittals, and change order requests.
  • Utilize project management software to maintain schedules and task lists.

Execution Phase

  • Assist in monitoring project progress and updating schedules.
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors to confirm lead times and deliveries.
  • Help prepare reports on project status and cost tracking.
  • Support quality control efforts by reviewing drawings and verifying compliance.
  • Conduct research and support problem resolution on project issues.
  • Attend site visits and document findings through reports and photos.

Close-Out Phase

  • Assist ingathering and organizing final project documentation.
  • Help compile punch lists and track completion status.
  • Support the final review of submittals and ensure proper filing.
  • Participate in lessons-learned meetings and documentation.
