POSITION DESCRIPTION:


ย ย We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead a multi-year modernization initiative and drive AI-powered digital transformation. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing large-scale programs, with the ability to serve as both Project Manager and Scrum Master in early phases, and later lead and scale high-performing teams of up to 50 personnel. Experience in Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and setting strategic direction for complex initiatives is essential.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Steer a small agentic AI driven team through a pilot as Project Manager and Scrum Master delivering agile excellence and real results.
  • Build, inspire, and manage a top-tier team and grow it to 50+ professionals.
  • Craft deliverables, program roadmaps, set milestones, and keep modernization goals and objectives front and center.
  • Drive long term consulting sales through delivery excellence your expertise will open doors and close deals.
  • Be the go-to for stakeholders, keeping everyone in sync and informed.
  • Champion best practices project management, agile methodology, compliance, security, AWS, and innovation through AI driven solutions.ย 
  • Work with cross-functional teams, client and company leadership solve problems, remove roadblocks, and make things happen.

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2-3 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology (or related field).
  • Must have at least 7 years of hands-on proven Project Management experience and success specializing in agile accelerated approaches.
  • Must possess a hands-on experience and deep understanding of management consulting, delivery, and team building for technical modernization projects coupled with O&M.
  • Must possess outstanding skills in leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive acceleration and change.
  • Must possess experience managing and supporting Project/Programs for Federal Government customers/clients.
  • Must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master Certification (or equivalent agile creds).
