Context of Job: 
 
The Program Coordinator, Engagement & Wellbeing supports the employee experience by developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that strengthen engagement, recognition, and wellbeing across the organization. The incumbent supports both Working at UD-branded engagement initiatives and employee caucuses/affinity groups with program planning, coordination, communications, and event execution.
 
The coordinator ensures engagement, recognition, and wellness programs are thoughtfully developed, executed, accessible, and aligned with organizational values and priorities. The role also supports program evaluation by tracking participation, gathering feedback, and helping translate insights into continuous improvement.
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the development, implementation, and evaluation of employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs and campaigns that support a positive and inclusive employee experience.
  • Partners with HR colleagues and stakeholders to translate organizational goals and cultural priorities into meaningful, employeecentered programs and experiences.
  • Manages recognition programs and activities that celebrate employee contributions, milestones, and achievements, supporting consistent recognition practices across the organization.
  • Provides programmatic and logistical support for Working at UD-branded ambassador network and employee caucuses, helping foster community, connection, and belonging across the organization.
  • Assists with the design and delivery of wellness initiatives that promote dimensions of wellbeing in alignment with organizational strategies.
  • Develops and coordinates program communications, including program messaging, calendars, announcements, and promotional materials to drive awareness and participation.
  • Supports the coordination of events (virtual and inperson), including scheduling, registrations, materials, vendor coordination, and followup communications.
  • Tracks participation, utilization, and engagement metrics for engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.
  • Gathers employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, or informal input to assess program effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Prepares summaries and reports that communicate participation trends, feedback, and outcomes to HR leadership.
  • Uses data and feedback to help identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and increased impact across programs and campaigns.
  • Maintains program documentation, calendars, and resources to support consistency and sustainability of engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to engagement, recognition, and wellness activities, providing timely and supportive responses.
  • Coordinates with vendors as needed to support program execution.
  • Serves on project teams or committees related to employee engagement, culture, recognition, or wellness initiatives.
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned to support HR programs and organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting HR programs, engagement initiatives, wellness programs, or event/campaign coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating programs or campaigns from planning through implementation and evaluation.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on clear, engaging messaging.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute positively to a team environment.
  • Comfort working with data, surveys, and basic reporting to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to creating a positive employee experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to inclusion and belonging
