Description
Project Lead (Cyber, Infra, Cloud) manages enterprise initiatives spanning multiple support areas including infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity remediation efforts, cloud onboarding activities, and enterprise tool integrations.

Location: Rockville, MD
Salary:  89,000-140,000
Clearance:  SECRET or L Clearance 
 
 
Responsibilities
Plan and execute cross-functional projects affecting system administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, monitoring, cloud services, and identity management, ensuring integration, sequencing, and technical validation across impacted environments.
Develop project plans, milestone schedules, risk mitigation strategies, dependency tracking documentation, and executive briefing materials for review with senior leadership.
Coordinate testing and validation activities within development and test environments prior to production releases and ensure all infrastructure modifications are documented and approved through established change management workflows.
Oversee quality checkpoints including patch validation, monitoring coverage verification, backup integrity confirmation, and security control alignment prior to deployment of infrastructure changes.
Conduct post-implementation reviews documenting technical outcomes, performance impact, and corrective measures when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out; support development of project schedules and deliverables; manage multidisciplinary project teams; ensure objectives are achieved within scope and schedule.
Experience managing enterprise infrastructure upgrade projects involving VMware, network infrastructure, M365 tenant services, cloud onboarding, and security control implementations.
Knowledge of change management governance through CAB processes.
Experience coordinating technical validation across development, test, and production environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance reporting and remediation tracking.
Ability to manage integrated master schedules and dependency matrices.
Preferred Certifications: PMP; PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a background investigation and access credentials as required for systems and facilities access.
