Summary
Joining Balfour Beatty as a Marketing Project Lead you will play a key role in our business development, project delivery and client engagement efforts. You will use your skills and experience to create compelling and engaging narratives surrounding complex construction approaches and projects ranging from $10 million to $500 million.
You will have a significant runway for continued development, learning and career growth as well as exposure to a wide range of complex high-value marquee projects.
Essential Functions
  • Lead the production of RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and award submissions-including research, writing, layout, and design.
  • Create persuasive proposal content with minimal editing required.
  • Maintain up-to-date marketing assets: project sheets, resumes, client testimonials, and databases.
  • Proofread and quality-check proposals to ensure accuracy and impact.
  • Support press releases, newsletters, and internal/external communications.
  • Provide creative support including graphics, event coordination, and vendor management.
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events and associations.

Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign).
  • Experience maintaining database information.
  • Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Office, Outlook).
  • 5-7 years of experience working on proposals
  • Previous experience coordinating internal/external communications (websites, newsletters, blogs, etc.)
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely in a variety of communication settings and styles
  • Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines with composure, occasionally with incomplete information

Preferred Experience
  • Construction Marketing experience
  • Proposal and graphic design experience
  • Experience with social media, photography, and communication outlets such as: LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.
  • Experience managing social media accounts through Meltwater or similar platform
  • Data management (CRM system) experience

Pay Rate: $85,000-95,000/year
