About Team TTOP is TikTok's open platform initiative for third-party developers, partners, and ecosystem businesses. We aim to open up TikTok's product capabilities, content scenarios, user connections, and platform infrastructure, enabling external developers to build richer product experiences and business opportunities within TikTok. Our focus is on helping high-quality third-party content, services, and application formats integrate naturally into the TikTok user experience and achieve scalable growth through platform capabilities. This role spans user-facing product experience, developer ecosystem, platform capability building, business growth, and cross-functional collaboration, making it an important new business direction in TikTok's ecosystem expansion. By joining TTOP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a platform business moving from early-stage exploration toward scaled growth, and work closely with product, engineering, operations, monetization, safety, and other teams to help define the future of TikTok's open ecosystem. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to work on-site 5 days per week and at least 3 months long internship period, with immediate availability preferred Responsibilities: - Assist product managers in demand research, scheme design, and implementation promotion for platform capability development and related product tasks. - Collect and analyze information such as user feedback, business data, and competitor cases, identify problems, and put forward product optimization suggestions. - Assist in compiling and maintaining product requirement documents, flowcharts, prototype specifications, and other materials. - Follow up on the entire process of demand development, testing, launch, and defect collection; facilitate cross-team communication and drive problem closure.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in computer science, statistics, information management, data science or a related discipline; - Proficiency in English, and fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is needed to manage stakeholders in China market. - Excellent logical thinking, information organization, and problem analysis skills. - Strong communication, coordination skills and sense of responsibility; able to proactively advance tasks and provide timely progress updates. - Familiar with tools such as Feishu Docs, Feishu Sheets, XMind, Figma, MockingBot, Axure; experience in prototype design or requirement document writing is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: - Interest or relevant practical experience in open platforms, mini-programs. - Previous internship experience in Internet product management, data analysis. - Strong learning ability and self-motivation.Earnest and responsible, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Clear written expression skills, capable of producing requirement documents and analysis conclusions. - Experience using AI tools, data analysis tools, or automated efficiency tools is a plus.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $35.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
