Description

This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Skillbridge Intern possessing to manage project schedules, project risk management for several efforts on Redstone Arsenal Alabama, supporting requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM). Ideal candidate should highly versed and experience with the description listed below:

    Building, baselining, and tracking project execution schedules using MS Project for multiple projects at one time
  • Soliciting schedule and logic updates from different functional areas and applying them to the critical path to determine slips or opportunities in schedule
  • Owning the project risk register, updating impact scores and mitigation/contingency strategies
  • Setting up and leading recurring virtual synchronization meetings via MS Teams
  • Standardizing and distributing weekly IMS and risk data back to the PMO team in Colorado Springs, CO as well as to local leadership in Huntsville, Al
  • Maintaining master project schedules using MS Project without direct daily supervision
  • Managing the local project risk register and report risks to the primary risk manager in Colorado Springs, CO
  • Serving as the Huntsville data anchor, coordinating updates, and relaying information back to the PMO team in Colorado Springs, CO

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements
  • Minimum four years of military operations, logistics, or command-and-control planning
  • Proven ability to manage independent tasks with minimal direct oversight
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (MS Project, Teams, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience building or updating project and program schedules or deployment timelines
  • Hands-on experience with MS Project
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Program, working with risk owners on developing mitigation and contingency plans, and developing a risk register based on the Risk Management Plan
  • Prefer 120-180 days of eligibility for the program
Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL.
