Job description

At Delta Air Lines, we are continually looking to build a high performing, self-motivated team of technologists who embrace new technologies to enhance the customer and employee experience.

We are looking for an Innovation & AI Engineering Intern to design and develop machine learning and AI-based products that incorporate cutting-edge technology. Just a heads up, this isn't a typical engineering role.

As an Innovation & AI Engineering Intern at Delta, you will own projects from day 1. You will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with business stakeholders and customers to identify problem areas
  • Developing and modifying state-of-the-art ML models to build robust and holistic solutions
  • Collaborating with other engineers, strategists, and designers to think of customer experiences that can be transformed by machine learning and AI
  • Presenting project updates to leaders across multiple business units
  • Leveraging advancements in technology and brainstorming ways to incorporate them into different areas of Delta
