NVA has been extremely successful over its 25+ year history and we're very excited about our next chapter as we work toward our shared vision of revolutionizing the pet care experience to provide more fulfilling lives for pets, their companions, and our team.

Position Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager to support our Innovation Team in driving key initiatives that enhance the digital experience and technology adoption for our hospital care teams. This role will play a critical part in coordinating projects, ensuring timely execution, and facilitating communication across teams.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you'll work closely with product professionals, clinicians, engineers, and hospital teams to help scale and implement innovative technologies that improve pet care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Support the Program Manager in executing key projects by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment with broader program goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including hospital teams, product managers, and IT, to drive project progress and resolve roadblocks.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide clear updates on project status, risks, and milestones to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Process & Organization: Manage documentation, project plans, and reporting tools to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Task Management: Assist in content management, survey distribution, tracking issues escalated to the product team, and other operational needs.

Key Competencies

  • Strong organization & attention to detail - Ability to juggle multiple projects and track deadlines effectively.
  • Effective communication - Comfort in working with diverse teams and ensuring clarity in project updates.
  • Adaptability & problem-solving - Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and proactively find solutions.
  • Collaboration & teamwork - Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and support larger program goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in project management, operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary medicine, or multi-site businesses is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) is preferred.
  • PMP or other certifications are not required but are a plus.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Impactful work - You'll help drive projects that directly improve hospital operations and patient care.
  • Supportive team environment - Work alongside talented, mission-driven professionals in an exciting, high-growth industry.
  • Career growth - Gain exposure to large-scale programs and develop skills in project and program management.

Compensation & FLSA Status

Base salary: $90,000-100,000

FLSA Status: Exempt, Salaried

Temporary: This position is expected to last 18 months to 2 years depending on business needs. The position is eligible for benefits.
