Position Overview:

As a Project Floor Care Supervisor at FCS Facility Services, you will play a key leadership role in our operations team, overseeing floor care projects and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for an experienced floor care professional who takes pride in maintaining exceptional facility appearance standards while leading and supporting a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Supervise and support floor care team members. Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure all projects are completed efficiently and according to company standards.

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee floor care projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule and meets quality expectations.

  • Floor Care Operations: Perform and supervise specialized floor care services, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and other floor maintenance procedures.

  • Carpet Care: Operate carpet extraction equipment and oversee carpet cleaning projects to ensure excellent results.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Training and Development: Train, mentor, and support team members on proper floor care techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

  • Equipment and Supply Management: Monitor equipment condition and inventory levels of cleaning supplies and materials. Report maintenance needs and ensure adequate stock levels.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.

  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with management, clients, and team members regarding project status, scheduling, and operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Floor Care experience is required

  • Knowledge of floor care and maintenance procedures.

  • Experience with carpet extraction and cleaning techniques.

  • Ability to supervise and coordinate project activities..

  • Ability to train and support team members while maintaining quality standards.

  • Dependability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
