Summary:

A commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a Service Project Engineer to support MEP service and construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of coordinating technical activities across engineering, purchasing, construction, fabrication, and field operations. You will assist Project Managers on complex mechanical projects while gaining experience in estimating, scheduling, design support, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with coordination between engineering, accounting, purchasing, fabrication, and field teams

  • Process RFIs, submittals, daily reports, procurement logs, and other project documents

  • Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, installation procedures, and subcontractor support

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, labor tracking, cost tracking, and project forecasting

  • Conduct job walks and help resolve installation or design challenges

  • Attend kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and OAC meetings

  • Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or 3–5 years of mechanical/MEP industry experience

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to support field teams and project management in a fast-paced environment
