Project Engineer - Miami


G&E Partners is partnered with a leading electrical sub-contractor in Florida that is actively expanding their project teams due to a strong and long-term project backlog. They are delivering some of the most high-profile projects in South Florida and are looking to bring on Project Engineers at multiple levels.


This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to complex construction projects while working directly with experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.


Requirements:


A driven Project Engineer with the following background:

  • 1+ yearsโ€™ experience supporting electrical construction projects, ideally with an electrical subcontractor.
  • Local to the Miami / South Florida market, or open to relocating.
  • Exposure to large-scale commercial, government, educational, hospitality, residential, or industrial projects.
  • Experience assisting with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, schedules, cost tracking, closeout documents, and project reporting.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and project scopes.
  • Ambitious, organised, and ready to grow into an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager role as the region continues to expand.
