Job description

Our client is in need of a Project Engineer / Project Manager to support engineering, estimating, and project execution within a heavy industrial and fabrication environment. This role will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications and drawings, developing designs based on applicable codes such as ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA, and generating detailed cost estimates for shop fabrication and field erection. The position also involves preparing RFQ packages, reviewing terms and conditions, and developing technical and commercial proposals. From a project standpoint, this individual will coordinate across drafting, purchasing, fabrication, and field teams, while managing subcontractors, contract changes, and maintaining consistent client communication throughout the lifecycle of each project. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering along with 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within process engineering, industrial manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction, and strong communication skills to support both internal coordination and external client interaction.
