SALARY RANGE: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for accurately setting up and operating machine tools.

What does the Machinist do at SpecSys?

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn ISO G code programming for either lathes or vertical mills
  • Machine set up for parts run for lathes or vertical mills
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly
  • Ability to understand and willingness to follow existing QC processes
  • Follow guidelines to arrange tooling and /or parts in a certain order
  • Operate and control equipment responsibly and safely
  • Inspect and evaluate the quality of piece parts

What are we looking for in a quality candidate for Machinist?

  • CNC Precision Manufacturing Technician AAS Degree, Diploma, or Certificate
  • Preferably two years of experience
  • Has any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
