A Project Engineer Manager oversees engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. They coordinate between various engineering teams, manage project schedules, allocate resources, and communicate with clients and stakeholders. Their responsibilities also include resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and reporting on project progress. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills.

How does a project engineer manager typically balance technical oversight with team leadership responsibilities?

A Project Engineer Manager is often responsible for both guiding the technical aspects of projects and leading a multidisciplinary team. • Proficiency with Inventor, AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Knowledge of PLC-based control systems and automated material handling systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for customer meetings, design reviews and site support.
Reasons to Apply
  • Join a growing team delivering large-scale Material Handling and BHS projects.
  • Work on technically challenging automation systems from concept through commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams.
