Project Development Specialist Essential Functions:
  • Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify existing systems and conditions within facilities
  • Facilitate adequate communication among the internal team, sub-contractors, and customers
  • Assist with performing various calculations and analyses focusing on energy and life cycle, along with cost review for recommendations
  • Identify and work with subcontractors and consultants to provide technical analysis and descriptions for project installation and to ensure the quality of work delivered exceeds the requirements of the job
  • Support the sales teams by attending client meetings and presentations
  • Analyze, prepare, and/or review conceptual and detailed project documents that may include but is not limited to bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications for energy efficient building technology and system measures
  • Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and presentations
  • Demonstrate good leadership and communications to all
  • Provide quality customer service and follow-up to customers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Project Development Specialist experience, technical skills & attributes:
  • One or more years of experience and knowledge in construction, engineering, or energy industry
  • Bachelor, Associate, or Trade School degree preferred
  • Industry certifications relatable to job requirements preferred, such as CEM, CMVP, PE, FE, etc.
  • Ability to work well with the sales and engineering teams to ensure complete and accurate solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to set and manage priorities
  • Proficiency in operating Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Strong customer advocacy
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving ability
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Energetic with a high sense of urgency

Position is full-time Monday – Friday and is not a remote work position.
