About the role: The Project Manager position will be located onsite in Bridgman, MI. You will report to the client management team. This is a great long-term contract opportunity to be a part of some exciting projects for upgrades, replacements or new installation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve Project Goals
  • Advise Project Sponsor of issues that can adversely affect meeting Project Objectives
  • Conduct business analyses and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Develop functional requirements for the project.
  • Develop the project budget including ROI analyses.
  • Evaluate all technologies and systems needed.
  • Develop and obtain resource needs for project development and implementation including outside services
  • Participate as, or assign tasks of, client representative in corporate or industry plans related to the project.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, resource requirements, milestones, and performance indicators.
  • Manage project close-out upon completion, including an analysis of the project's success in meeting the ROI goals.
  • Provide reports to Senior Management and the station on the status of the project and progress on project goals.
  • Prepare and administer budget plans to manage expenses within the established guidelines.
  • Support and participate in the Corrective Action Program activities as assigned, and following procedures applicable for the assigned role.
  • Perform all tasks, and work with other employees in a safe manner, in compliance with appropriate company safety policies and rules.
  • Assume responsibility for upgrading knowledge and skill.
  • Perform tasks that may involve work in hazardous areas and possible radiation exposure within the limits prescribed by the NRC.
  • Manage all radiological control work practices and contamination control program requirements. Identify and correct improper contamination control practices. Track and trend data to identify recurring problems and implement corrective action.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related technical field, or equivalent education or experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) desired but not required.
  • Five (5) years' experience in commercial nuclear power; demonstrated ability in project management.
  • The assigned project may require special skills related to its area.
  • Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
