Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Plainville, CT. In this leadership role, you will drive strategic growth, cultivate high-value partnerships, and expand the company’s market presence. You will leverage market insights, strengthen executive-level client relationships, and develop innovative strategies to achieve ambitious revenue goals while guiding cross-functional teams in the execution of business development initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the identification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities, targeting high-value industrial, manufacturing, and environmental health & safety clients.
  • Achieve and exceed ambitious annual growth targets for new clients and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and partners to support long-term retention and expansion.
  • Coordinate with project teams and division heads to ensure seamless delivery of client commitments.
  • Analyze market dynamics, track competitors, and apply insights to inform business development strategies.
  • Oversee lead generation, RFQ/RFP submissions, and proposal development to drive business growth.
  • Represent Loureiro at industry associations, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Mentor and guide junior business development staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Partner with leadership to define strategic initiatives and contribute to high-level decision-making.

  • Engineering experience is a plus but not required.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
