Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Director to spearhead our growth in the modular construction market. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence. This is a critical role for our company's success, requiring a deep understanding of the construction industry and a passion for the efficiency and innovation of sustainable modular building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand EcoMod's market reach and achieve revenue targets.
  • Partnership Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships with key clients, including developers, architects, and general contractors who are interested in sustainable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in modular construction. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and position Ecomod as a leader in providing homes that are nine times stronger than conventional buildings and offer a 30% reduction in construction costs.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Act as a primary point of contact for major accounts, educating them on the unique benefits of Ecomod's factory-built, high-performance homes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our project management, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Provide valuable market feedback to inform product development, particularly in relation to sustainability and high-performance building.
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities. Track and report on key metrics, providing data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in sales or business development, or a related strategic sales role, with a preference for candidates with direct experience in modular or prefabricated construction, or home sales.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the commercial and/or residential construction industry, including the sales cycle, key stakeholders, and project delivery methods.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales-related tools.
