Job description

We are partnering with a medical center seeking a Development Assistant. The Development Assistant will be responsible for scheduling appointments, writing and coordinating the production of donor reports and communications, processing gift transmittals, and assisting with prospect research and proposal development.
Responsibilities:
• Writing and coordinating the production of donor reports, thank you letters, solicitation letters, gift transmittals and special acknowledgment letters.
• Assisting with prospect research and proposal development; coordinating and managing database entry; interacting with internal and external constituencies.
• Maintaining donor lists, including assurance of database accuracy; maintaining files and database portfolio.
• Scheduling appointments and meetings, including preparation of agenda, notification to participants, and appropriate follow-up.
• Assist with vendor and site inquiry for special events as well as organize and coordinate events, including volunteer committee meetings.
• Troubleshoot and perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3 yrs related experience
• Ability to work occasional evening/weekends as projects and events require
Compensation: $27-30/hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
