Job description

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Application & Development Services, you will be part of Agnico Eagle IT's Corporate Applications & Development Services ("CADS") department. You will ensure that objectives are met while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, the health and safety code of conduct and the environment.

Specifically, you will:

  • Act as the primary strategic and tactical liaison between business leaders and CADS, translating business priorities, pain points and opportunities into actionable technology roadmaps and initiatives;

  • Lead the business delivery partnership operating model for assigned corporate application portfolios, including demand intake, prioritization, business case shaping, roadmap alignment, capacity planning, funding alignment and delivery oversight;

  • Build trusted relationships with corporate, functional, site and IT stakeholders, providing a clear entry point into CADS while identifying opportunities for value creation, simplification, standardization and risk reduction;

  • Guide cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of initiatives, from opportunity framing, intake, scoping and prioritization through delivery execution, deployment, transition to operations and benefits realization;

  • Strengthen portfolio governance by improving visibility across demand, projects, operations, dependencies, risks, resource constraints, budget considerations and leadership decision points;

  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with business processes, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, procurement, supportability, application lifecycle management and long-term operational sustainability;

  • Coordinate or support workshops, stakeholder discussions, roadmap sessions and alignment forums to clarify business requirements, assess impacts, confirm priorities and support solution design and adoption;

  • Support organizational change by coordinating communication, readiness, training and stakeholder engagement activities in collaboration with project, support and business teams;

  • Coordinate vendor, partner, finance, procurement and internal team engagement related to the portfolio, ensuring service quality, delivery alignment, cost awareness and effective collaboration across all contributors;

  • Lead, coach and standardize the work of IT Business Delivery Partners or related business-facing resources, helping establish clear accountabilities, consistent practices, scalable governance and a strong service-oriented culture within the CADS business partnership model.

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering, industrial engineering or another relevant discipline; a master's degree would be an asset;

  • Experience in business relationship management, business partnership leadership, portfolio governance, demand management, project delivery or a comparable role connecting business priorities with IT execution;

  • Strong understanding of business process transformation, enterprise application delivery, operating model evolution, change management, service transition and value realization in complex enterprise environments;

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders across business, IT, finance, procurement and external partners;

  • Experience managing demand intake, prioritization, roadmap sequencing, resource capacity, budgets, service performance and delivery risks within a portfolio or business-facing IT function;

  • Strong interest in technology-enabled business transformation and the ability to connect enterprise applications, data, digital capabilities, vendors and support models to measurable business outcomes;

  • Well-versed in the Microsoft environment and comfortable working with collaboration, reporting and presentation tools;

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to adapt messaging to executives, operational leaders and technical teams;

  • Strong strategic thinking, sound judgment and the ability to balance business needs, delivery capacity, enterprise standards, supportability, cost and operational realities;

  • A proactive nature, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to challenge fragmented practices, reduce over-communication, increase transparency and build alignment and trust across stakeholders;

  • Willingness to travel occasionally;

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred, as the role involves collaboration with other Agnico Eagle sites; Spanish proficiency would be considered an asset.

Your Work Schedule

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

  • Workplace: Possibility to work in one of Agnico Eagle's offices closer to your residence in Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel or Toronto. There is a possibility to have a hybrid work schedule, working some days from an Agnico Eagle office and some days in telecommuting.
