Belcan is looking for a Data Analyst to support manufacturing and aerospace projects at our facility in Windsor, CT or Asheville, NC. Incorporating data driven decision making, this position will analyze large amounts of data for manufacturing trends and directly influence decision making on a daily/weekly basis.
Data Analyst job duties:
* Writing Excel Macros, manipulating data, automating reports
* Lead and support projects, schedule meetings, report out information, and demonstrate successful methods to work around roadblocks or delays.
* Evaluate data pull processes and recommend/implement process improvements
* Develop reporting processes, create work instructions, develop process improvements which may include automating data pulls and reporting, integrating multiple data reports, and standardizing methods.
Qualifications:
* BS Degree in Data, Finance, Business, STEM, or other related disciplines
* One or more years of work experience in a customer facing role in an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot charts/tables are a must have
* Experience with VBA Macros and/or PowerBI is highly preferred
* Exposure to SAP preferred
* Strong self-management, with the ability to work independently and as a team
* Must be outgoing, enjoy solving problems, and be an excellent communicator (written and verbal).
* US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work
