Project Coordinator Cross Bore Program

Location- Atlanta, GA

Contract- 3 Year

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator provides direct support to the Cross Bore Program Manager and Lead Analyst in managing sewer inspections and cross bore remediation projects throughout the entire project life cycle. This role involves coordination with contractors, municipalities, and internal stakeholders, while maintaining a strong focus on project quality, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with experience in utility construction or related fields.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Support
  • Assist in managing sewer inspection and cross bore remediation projects from initiation to closeout.

  • Provide direct support to the Program Manager and Lead Cross Bore Analyst.

  • Create project work packages, develop and maintain schedules, and coordinate project documentation.

  • Monitor and manage project deliverables for completeness and quality.

  • Review project videos and data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, individual customers, municipalities, and other external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate internal and contractor meetings and document outcomes, agreements, and action items.

  • Support contractor oversight to ensure adherence to program requirements and change management initiatives.

Quality Control & Reporting
  • Manage storage, retrieval, and quality assurance of project files and deliverables.

  • Develop and deliver project status reports, dashboards, and updates in various formats.

  • Identify deficiencies, implement corrective action plans, and monitor performance improvements.

Process Improvement
  • Support implementation of lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

  • Recommend and assist in refining project processes, tools, and documentation standards.

Software & Systems
  • Use and maintain data in multiple platforms, including:

    • Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, GIS, and Work Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sewer inspections, natural gas, or utility construction is strongly preferred.

  • Equivalent military experience will be considered.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
