We are currently seeking Project Coordinator that will assist designated Project Managers with day-to-day project and coordinating functions. The primary job duties consist of providing a high level of support to our clients in support of the professional's forensic engineering work.  This is an in-office position where the individual is expected to be onsite during business hours.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides project support and coordination work.
  • Manages email and calendar.
  • Assists with scheduling of meetings, conference calls, inspections, and deposition or trial testimony.
  • Assists with logging time and expenses.
  • Tracks project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Organizes and manages electronic project records.
  • Coordinates electronic file sharing of project data.
  • Coordinates shipping of technical equipment between district offices and Project Managers.
  • Coordinates technical equipment needs and team resources.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Education and Certifications

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. 
  • Outstanding computer skills are expected, including the ability to effectively use and assist others with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).   Experience with shared Outlook Calendar as a scheduling tool is a plus. 
  • Experience in a project support or coordination role in the engineering, legal, or insurance fields a plus.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. 
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Must have good organizational skills as well as analytical and interpretive skills. 
  • Should have the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities. 
  • Must have the ability to work independently or in a team environment. 
  • Must have dependable transportation and have a valid Driver's license.

Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel Requirements

Work is performed primarily in an office setting. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk (must be able to speak and communicate clearly with employees). Employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.

There will be periods where overtime will be required to meet the company's business needs.
