Job description

Job Title: Sr. Project Manager, SNAP

Location: Remote

Job Description:

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Sr. Project Manager (SNAP) to become a key player in our North America Team. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining strong client satisfaction. This individual manages project planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across clients, internal teams, and leadership, while also overseeing budgets, contractual obligations, and performance metrics. The role requires building strong stakeholder relationships, driving best practices and Sapiens methodologies, and fostering team morale and accountability.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of software development projects to ensure schedule, budget/profitability and quality goals are met
  • Achieve client satisfaction, by managing and meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Ensure project meets all contractual obligations
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and objectives
  • Proactively communicate project status and plans to client, project team and Sapiens Management
  • Obtain written acceptance for all deliverables
  • Create and maintain successful alliances with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Assess and track risks, develop risk mitigation plans
  • Manage budgetary items associated with project expenses, capital purchases and contract resources
  • Develop or provide key input into business cases for proposed projects
  • Ensure project is executed using best practices and Sapiens' methodologies
  • Develop and coordinate project controls and associated metrics to measure success
  • Build and maintain positive team morale
  • Ensure team conduct themselves and carry out their work in a professional manner
  • Provide project team feedback to their managers for semiannual and annual performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Minimum seven plus years experience in managing software development projects
  • Minimum of five plus years external project management experienced required
  • Minimum five years' experience with software development methodologies and of the overall iterative software development lifecycle
  • Broad understanding of insurance industry  
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Good problem-solving, issue resolution, negotiation, and diplomacy skills
  • PMI Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Travel to client sites will be required and will vary with project assignment.
    Expected travel  up to 25% of the time.
