Graham is actively recruiting for a Senior Project Controls Coordinator to support the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Project Controls Lead, this role partners with project teams to ensure adherence to project controls processes and standards, provides high-level operational support, and monitors project performance to identify risks, drive improvements, and escalate issues as needed.

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Support Project Setup and Execution: Assist with project startup by ensuring budgets, schedules, and systems are established correctly to enable effective project execution and performance tracking
  • Ensure Adoption of Project Controls Processes and Tools: Work closely with project teams to promote and ensure consistent use of standardized project management tools, procedures, and the Graham Management System (GMS)
  • Develop and Maintain Project Plans and Controls Systems: Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and document management processes, ensuring alignment with project controls standards
  • Monitor Performance and Identify Risks: Review project performance and adherence to procedures, identify risks or areas of concern, and escalate issues to support informed decision-making and mitigation strategies
  • Provide Reporting and Decision Support: Deliver accurate and timely project controls data and insights to stakeholders, enabling confident financial and operational decision-making while proactively flagging potential impacts.

The Right Tools for the Job 

Education & Experience: Diploma, technical training, or university degree (Construction or Engineering preferred) with 2-4 years of relevant project controls or construction experience

Technical & Functional Skills: Strong knowledge of project controls processes (cost control, scheduling, document management), with proficiency in MS Office and project controls software (e.g., InEight as an asset)  

Core Competencies: Effective communication, collaboration, and business acumen, with the ability to analyze project data, identify risks, and support cross-functional teams (operations, accounting, and corporate services)

Compensation

  • Salary Range $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience
  • Excellent Flexible Health & Dental benefits plan
  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
