Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Project Controls Scheduler to support the ongoing Plant Yates Units 8-10 Project, a 3 x 0 Simple Cycle Combustion Turbine facility being constructed on a brownfield site at the existing Plant Yates plant in Newnan, Georgia.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EPC project scheduling, Primavera P6, Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM). This position plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules while collaborating with project management, engineering, construction, and project controls teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Level I and Level II project schedules.
  • Build and manage project logic, fragnets, resource loading, and resource leveling.
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify schedule impacts.
  • Conduct float analysis and provide schedule performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) reports.
  • Support project forecasting and progress measurement activities.
  • Analyze schedule risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate schedule updates with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
  • Evaluate scope changes and quantify their impact on project schedules.
  • Maintain accurate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with project objectives.
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Assist with project controls processes including planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Understand EPC project workflows and dependencies across engineering, procurement, and construction functions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience as a Project Controls Scheduler or Project Scheduler on large industrial, power generation, EPC, or heavy construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project planning, and scheduling methodologies.
  • Experience performing schedule risk analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to evaluate and manage schedule impacts resulting from project changes.
  • Experience with resource planning and allocation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Newnan, GA.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting power generation, utility, energy, or EPC construction projects.
  • Knowledge of project controls processes including cost and schedule integration.
  • Experience working in field construction environments.
  • Familiarity with schedule recovery planning and delay analysis.
  • Understanding of project risk management methodologies.
