General Summary: Works directly with the project manager to create and maintain a projects budget and schedule work, analyze progress reported against the work schedules, and recommend actions to improve progress.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and maintain an integrated project schedule using industry software to include resource loading, creating calendars, and coding structures.
  • Develop and maintain manpower curves.
  • Track and monitor actual vs planned project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure financial control.
  • Maintain accurate project files and produce reports as needed or requested.
  • Track POs, invoice status and subcontracts to reconcile commitments vs budget.
  • Effectively communicate project(s) status to project managers.
  • Interact with clients and customers as needed.
  • Coordinate with the finance and accounting teams during billing cycles, audits, and month-end close.
  • Analyze performance data, including project costs, revenue, margins, budgets, and variances.
  • Develop risk mitigations and contingency planning.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports as needed or requested by the operations team.
  • Continuously looks for ways to improve results or outcomes to increase customer satisfaction and decrease the bottom line.
