Seeking a QA/QC Manager to provide Owner Representation on the construction of a data center campus -Port Washington, WI
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of construction experience
- 5+ years of quality-related management experience, including plan development, training, implementation, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong written and oral communication skills to exchange information
- Knowledgeable of departmental processes & policies, and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
- Exercise considerable judgment and initiative, manage time effectively, and interact positively with staff and contractors in order to enhance effectiveness and to promote quality service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Procore and PowerBI
- Certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) such as CMQ/OE, CQIA, CQPA, CQE, and/or CQA
- Experience delivering mission-critical data center facilities
- Familiarity with MEP trades
- Engineering Degree or Related Experience
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance programs across one or more construction projects
- Train and manage project-specific quality personnel
- Provide quality training to internal teams, trade partners, and vendors
- Monitor and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
- Communicate project updates to the Development Quality Team bi-weekly
- Lead or participate in project quality meetings
- Monitor inspection and testing requirements and results
- Conduct weekly jobsite walks with the General Contractor
- Review Quality Observation Reports and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Communicate and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead or participate in root cause analyses for nonconformance issues
- Collaborate with MEP teams during commissioning to identify improvement opportunities
- Participate in vendor/supplier factory tests, inspections, and audits
- Serve as liaison with key stakeholders and represent quality interests in OAC meetings
- Manage the Punch List Process with onsite team and perform weekly (or bi-weekly) status meetings with subs to resolve open items.
- Physically confirm that all punch list items are corrected on the field.
- Perform site walkthroughs at least 2 times a day and add any QC observations in the Cx Alloy issues tool.
- Promote a culture of integrity and open communication
- Actively contributes to internal quality improvement initiatives
