These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.KBR is looking for an **Technical Services Manager** to support a major LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) project. The successful candidate will lead the technical services function, providing oversight of construction support, engineering coordination, work packaging, field technical resolution, commissioning readiness, quality integration, and project controls interfaces to ensure successful project execution.This role requires a highly skilled leader with significant experience supporting the construction and delivery of large LNG, petrochemical, refinery, or other major industrial projects. The Technical Services Manager will serve as the critical link between engineering, procurement, construction, quality, commissioning, and project management teams to drive safe, efficient, and predictable project performance.Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:* Lead the project's Technical Services organization and provide technical support throughout construction, commissioning, and startup phases.* Manage coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, quality, commissioning, and operations teams.* Oversee construction work packaging, technical query management, field engineering support, and constructability reviews.* Ensure timely resolution of technical issues, design changes, and field execution challenges.* Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Field Change Requests (FCRs), Technical Clarifications, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).* Coordinate engineering deliverables to support construction sequencing and project milestones.* Support development and implementation of project execution strategies, workface planning, and advanced work packaging initiatives.* Lead constructability reviews and technical risk assessments to improve productivity and minimize rework.* Interface with quality and commissioning teams to ensure system completion and turnover requirements are met.* Monitor technical performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve project execution.* Provide leadership for document control, turnover documentation, technical records, and project closeout activities.* Support project scheduling, forecasting, progress measurement, and recovery planning efforts.* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all technical services activities align with project HSE objectives.Required Education, Experience, & Skills:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent construction experience.* Minimum **10 years of experience** supporting major industrial construction projects, including significant LNG, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, or energy infrastructure experience.* Minimum **5 years in a leadership role** managing technical services, field engineering, construction support, or project execution teams.* Strong understanding of: + Engineering design and execution processes + Construction planning and sequencing + Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) + Field engineering and technical support + Project controls and scheduling + Quality management systems + Mechanical completion and turnover processes + Commissioning and startup readiness* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex EPC or EPCM project environments.* Proven ability to drive issue resolution between engineering, construction, and operations stakeholders.* Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.**Preferred Qualifications*** Direct LNG project experience strongly preferred.* Experience supporting greenfield LNG export terminals, liquefaction facilities, or regasification terminals.* Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.* PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.* Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), WorkFace Planning (WFP), and Construction Work Packages (CWPs).* Familiarity with major EPC contractors and large-scale industrial project delivery models.* Experience on projects exceeding $1 billion in total installed cost.Decarbonization – Energy Transition – SustainabilityKBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
