Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant software/computer related fields, or two to four years related experience and/or training.
  • Related experience includes spreadsheet manipulation or database manipulation and macro development. Additional experience preferred with any DCS systems such as Operator Display implementation, I/O database implementation and Control Strategy implementation.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively alongside Puffer-Sweiven’s customers, management, and sales organization
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and algorithms to practical and complex situations
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form that apply to several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to effectively use the following computer applications: Word processing, spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Database software, Networking, PC and mainframe systems.
