As a QC Coordinator at ITC Construction, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality standards of construction projects from start to finish during the projects finishing stage. This includes overseeing everything from steel stud framing to final paint in residential and common areas, as well as all trade scopes in between. This role will evolve into being Punch-out Inspector, managing the punch-out and deficiency process for residential suites.


What You Will Do:

  • Set up, monitor and maintain Quality Management System for the project.
  • Support trades in complying with the QC responsibilities.
  • Ensure that proper QC documentation is complete and filed for the project.
  • Field inspection of the assigned job site on a regular basis as required ensuring compliance with Quality Standards as delegated by the Superintendent.
  • Attendance at Project Meetings as delegated by the Site Superintendent.
  • Carry out visual inspections of mech system in cooperation with the mech trade as directed by the Site Superintendent.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely project close-out and occupancy of the building Coordination and assistance during the deficiency stage of a project.
  • Logging / recording of suite deficiency lists and items using Procore Punch-out tool.
  • Scheduling and coordination of Trades and deficiency workers to complete suite deficiencies.
  • Reporting to Project Manager and Superintendent on status of deficiency completion items.
  • Review, action and response on daily project correspondence.
  • Action and completion of project issues from incoming communications through to filing of completed items as delegated by the Project Manager.

This role could be for you if you have:

  • 3+ years proven experience in the residential construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, and quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple trades.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
  • Carpentry background experience is an asset.
