Receptionist / Branch Assistant

How does the role impact the organization?

As a member of the team, reporting to the Branch Administrator, you will provide ongoing administrative support to the branch, and its clients. 

What will your role be responsible for? 

  • Answer all incoming calls on the main switchboard;
  • Greet and assist visiting clients and guests;
  • Handle and correctly escalate urgent incoming client calls;
  • Distribute and post mail;
  • Organize and book boardroom meetings; 
  • Liaise with local caterers to order breakfast/lunches for presentations;
  • Set up prior to and clean up after boardroom presentations; and after individual client/advisor meetings;
  • Operate video and audio conferencing equipment;
  • Accept, distribute and arrange all courier pick-up and deliveries;
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, boardrooms and reception area; Maintain stationery supplies and office equipment;
  • Plan & post Branch social media articles/events on various websites;
  • Initiate Branch website updates; and
  • Provide assistance to other employees on various branch projects as required;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $45,000 - 50,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
