Job Description
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Assist with Global Investor Forum (GIF) activities and the GIF Operating Team as needed
• Assist Investments Project Manager, Director of Equity Investments and Global Head of Investor Engagement with various projects as needed
• Generate timely research reports using various market data service applications including extensive interaction with Microsoft Excel
• Advocate for equity investors and participate in various projects that involve departments across the firm
• Assist the investment teams in preparing for internal meetings, client presentations and board presentations
• Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports for assigned team members
• Calendar management and meeting planning for assigned team members
• Assist assigned team members with various projects and requests as needed
• Coordinate set up and ordering for meetings that require meals, i.e. breakfast, lunch, snacks, refreshments
• Order and manage supplies and other items needed by the team members
• Provide backup for other assistants [and Rob] as necessary
• Other duties particular to the assigned teams and additional responsibilities as assigned
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• 2+ years administrative/professional office experience
• Project management experience preferred
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be proficient in document management & creation, with demonstrated ability to combine documents from all MSOffice products & Adobe Acrobat into one seamless document.
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment with and become proficient with new investment research tools (e.g., AI tools)
• Ability to multi-task under pressure with proven organizational skills
• Ability to learn new software packages as needed with the expectation to be proficient in a short amount of time
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels in and outside the organization
