Project Coordinator - Architecture Firm

GTA based - Hybrid - Full-time

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team in the GTA. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our architectural and design projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for architecture and a desire to contribute to the creation of inspiring spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to oversee and coordinate the design and execution of projects.
  • Create and manage project work schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, making necessary design revisions as required.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status reports and metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and budgets.
  • Work with project managers to define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project managers in maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Facilitate project team meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or document control.
  • Solid understanding of architectural design theories and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with contract admin software, such as Procore (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A team player attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
