What we need:

Natco is seeking an Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance Team. This role is based out of our corporate headquarters in West Warwick, RI. The Accountant will play an important role in supporting daily accounting functions across multiple entities, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close activities, accounts payable, tax compliance, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to expand their accounting knowledge and professional expertise. What you’ll do:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
  • Prepare schedules and analyses for intercompany transactions and expense allocations
  • Assist with tax filings and payments, including sales and use tax, GST, and federal and state tax obligations
  • Process accounts payable transactions, support wire payment processing, and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
  • Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned


What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
  • Intermediate accounting experience preferred; all levels of experience encouraged to apply

  • Strong accounting, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and problem-solving ability
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Able to self-direct with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgement
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage a workload effectively to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables)
  • Accounting software and ERP systems experience preferred
