Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Project Accounting Specialist II to support the financial administration of large-scale EPC power generation and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate project financial records, processing project-related transactions, and supporting Project Accountants with the day-to-day financial activities that keep projects running smoothly. 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment. This position works closely with Project Accounting, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations to ensure project costs, commitments, and financial documentation are accurate and complete. 


  • Support the financial administration of multiple active EPC projects. 
  • Process project-related invoices, commitments, purchase orders, and subcontractor documentation. 
  • Assist with project setup, maintenance, and closeout activities within the ERP system. 
  • Monitor project cost coding and ensure transactions are accurately assigned. 
  • Review project documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to processing. 
  • Assist with customer billing support, subcontractor invoicing, and payment processing. 
  • Track project commitments and assist with maintaining accurate financial records. 
  • Support Project Accountants with month-end activities, reconciliations, and project reporting. 
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and project accounting inquiries. 
  • Maintain organized project financial documentation in accordance with company policies. 
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests by gathering supporting documentation. 
  • Assist with ERP enhancements, testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives. 
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and financial procedures. 
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Project Controls, and Operations to support project financial activities. 
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. 
  • Employee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locations. 

Required Experience & Education 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • 2-5 years’ experience in project accounting, project administration, construction administration, or project financial support experience. 
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar platforms. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
