Job description

KSR Foam and Technical Products LLC is seeking a Material Expeditor / Saw Operator to join our growing team in Garden Grove, CA.
In this hands-on role, you will manage the flow of materials to production and operate a large saw safely and efficiently. You will also serve as a key point of contact between the production and planning teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
Pay

Starting rate: Based on experience

Additional Compensation:

  • Shipping bonus eligible
  • Overtime opportunities

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Additional: Saturdays and overtime as needed
Responsibilities

  • Operate the large saw safely and efficiently
  • Yield material and minimize waste
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records
  • Review and distribute materials to production in a timely manner
  • Communicate inventory levels and production status to management
  • Coordinate with other departments to track progress and completion dates
  • Prioritize tasks and help maintain constant workflow
Qualifications

  • Experience operating a large saw is required
  • Prior experience with foam or yielding material for manufacturing purposes
  • Construction, production, planning, or manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong math and measurement skills, including ability to use a tape measure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong project management and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety at all times
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to stay organized.
Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for long periods
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers
  • Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 100 lbs independently
  • Exposure to moving machinery, noise, dust, and debris
