This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to operate from your home while being part of a supportive and collaborative team. You'll contribute to our community health clinic, which provides outpatient treatment with a focus on young adults aged 18 to 30. In your role as an LCPC, you will:

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, helping clients connect through shared experiences and promoting a sense of community.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions that leverage empathetic counseling techniques to guide clients in exploring their emotions and developing coping strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they target specific concerns and align with personal goals.
• Monitor client progress using various assessment tools and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and discuss complex cases for optimal client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on young adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life issues. By leveraging evidence-based therapies tailored to this demographic, you will play a crucial role in helping clients develop strong coping mechanisms, restore relationships, and work towards achieving their potential.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with young adults in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities specific to mental health.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for telehealth sessions, comprehensive documentation, and treatment planning.
