The Fall Intern has an opportunity to assist in various projects while learning about many facets of the accounting profession. Spending approximately 12 weeks with the tax teams , the Fall Intern will gain experience under several management styles and working with diverse teams. The Fall Intern will be assigned several tasks and duties including


  • Prepare smaller tax returns
  • Prepare supporting workpapers for large tax returns
  • Analyze broker statements
  • Perform research projects
  • Post General Ledgers
  • Update QuickBooks files
  • Accounting and bookkeeping support
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Active student in the University of Houston - Bauer College of Business PPA program.
  • Completion of junior year
  • GPA of 3.3 or better
