Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Clinic Director to lead our team In Midland.

As a key leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing clinic operations, maintaining the highest standards of high-quality patient care, mentoring clinical staff, and ensuring the overall success and growth of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Patient Care

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate comprehensive treatment plans based on evaluation results.

  • Review physician referrals (prescriptions), patient conditions, and medical records to determine required physical therapy treatments.

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines when needed.

  • Complete written plans of care, develop functional goals based on evaluation findings, and establish comprehensive programs to attain those goals.

  • Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential physical therapy interventions.

Staff Supervision & Operations

  • Direct and oversee all daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and scheduling.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinic staff, including physical therapists, assistants, and rehabilitation technicians.

  • Take full responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians, providing guidance and quality assurance.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on professional development and clinical excellence.

Communication & Compliance

  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians, referral sources, and insurance companies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation across the team, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

  • Maintain compliance with all state regulations, healthcare laws, and clinic policies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Managerial experience is a plus but not necessary. 
  • Current or upcoming state of Michigan Physical Therapy license and CPR certification
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a strong plus.
