We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team.

We are seeking caring, dependable, and energetic part-time Assistant Daycare Teachers to support our teaching team in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This role is ideal for college students, high school seniors, or individuals looking to gain experience in early childhood education.
Candidates must be flexible and available to help with opening shifts, closing shifts, or both depending on the center’s needs.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Partner with other lead teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum and have the unique opportunity to use our engaging characters to make TLE a fun place for children to learn, play, and grow.
  • Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout the daycare classrooms and programs.
  • Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning and play
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
  • Support meal times, nap times, diapering, and restroom routines as needed
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Follow all daycare safety procedures and licensing regulations
  • Assist with classroom setup and cleanup during opening and closing shifts
  • Help create a warm, welcoming, and positive atmosphere for children
  • Communicate with parents and families, sharing their child's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
Qualifications: 
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • High school students, college students, or individuals pursuing education, nursing, psychology, or childcare-related fields are encouraged to apply
  • Previous childcare experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team
  • Must have a positive attitude, patience, and love for working with children
  • Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children
  • Have a high school diploma/GED (ECE coursework preferred)
  • Meet any applicable state licensing requirements for the role

    • Opening shifts (example: 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM) 
    • Closing shifts (example: 11:30 PM – 6:30 PM)
