Job description

Seeking an energetic, part time Program Assistant to join our team in mid August! You will perform a wide variety of tasks to support the activities of a growing, dynamic K-12 learning center located in Herndon/Reston, convenient to Fairfax County Parkway, Dulles Toll Road, and new Herndon Metro stop.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist families with check-in
  • Answer questions
  • Support classroom instructors
  • Assist with set-up and clean-up for scheduled classes, clubs, events, special events
  • Prepare email and text communications
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to attendance and enrollment

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing personality, customer-service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Take initiative and be proactive in anticipating tasks that need to be done
  • Experience working with school-aged students ages

Hours/Duration:

  • 4 days per week from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • 35 weeks per year (mid-August to mid-June), with options for reduced, flexible hours in the summer
