Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welding Programmer to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for programming, optimizing, and troubleshooting robotic welding systems to ensure high-quality, efficient, and consistent weld performance. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities
  • Program, modify, and optimize robotic welding systems
  • Develop and refine welding programs for a variety of applications and materials
  • Assist in the development of fixturing and tooling required for specific welding jobs
  • Ensure welding accuracy, repeatability, and overall process consistency
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement and improve welding solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve robotic programming and welding issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform testing and validation of new programs prior to production release
  • Maintain documentation for welding programs and process improvements

Qualifications
  • Previous experience programming robotic welding systems (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, or similar preferred)
  • Strong understanding of MIG/TIG welding processes and weld parameters
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
  • Experience with fixture design and tooling concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

  • Manufacturing/production setting
  • Hands-on work with robotic systems and welding equipment
