Capabilities Developer
Chantilly, VA | Top Secret Cleared | New 5 Year DoJ Contract
Amatriot is looking for a Capabilities Developer to support Rapid Application
Development (RAD) for both offensive and defensive cyber security tools, network
topologies, and secured networks. Personnel hired will leverage red and blue team
operational expertise to advance mission objectives through focused development
efforts in software engineering and network analysis. Support activities will span both
user and kernel levels, including the configuration and management of complex network
environments, administration of covert and virtualized systems, performing vulnerability
research and analysis, and utilizing open-source penetration testing tools.
Required Skills
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities in network, host, and web application endpoints
utilizing a variety of techniques from open-source research and manual analysis.
• Rapid development and prototyping of tools for Windows and Linux endpoints
• Expertise in techniques for persistence mechanisms on endpoints using utilities
pertaining to identified vulnerabilities
• Ability to create, manage and deploy virtual environments with applications such
as VMware, Proxmox, KVM/qemu, etc.
• A strong understanding of networking, network topologies, and routing through
the internet, including experience with VPN, proxy, and tunnel management and
configuration
• Software engineering using modern programming practices using industry
standard languages (e.g. C, C++, .NET, Python)
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Ability to think independently and take initiative on new tasks
Required Qualifications:
• Jr.-Level: BS/BA with 2+ years of relevant experience or 6 years with no degree.
Advanced certifications, specialized training, or equivalent hands-on experience
may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
• Mid Level: BS/BA with 6+ years of relevant experience or 10 years with no
degree. Advanced certifications, specialized training, or equivalent hands-on
experience may be considered in lieu of years of experience
• Senior Level: BS/BA with 10+ years of relevant experience or 14 years with no
degree. Advanced certifications, specialized training, or equivalent hands-on
experience may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance is required, with willingness and ability to
obtain a CI polygrap
